Monisha is motivated by launching a high-impact and high-growth venture. She is an accomplished entrepreneur and business leader with deep experience managing cross-functional teams in the Internet, software, and education industries. Monisha previously served as CEO and Co-Founder of TuitionCoach (acquired by SimpleTuition in 2009), where she oversaw the financing, launch, and general management of the start-up. After the acquisition, she stayed on with SimpleTuition as VP Products. Monisha has an MBA and MA Education from Stanford and a BA from Yale. She enjoys spending time with her family, playing tennis, skiing, running, and dancing.
CHARLES WANG, M.D.
Charles is focused on finding innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing problems. He has extensive experience uncovering true market needs and product-market fit at Veracyte, a molecular diagnostics company funded by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, TPG Biotech, Versant Ventures, and Domain Associates. Involved with Veracyte from seed stage incubation through Series A and B financing, and finally to the company’s first product launch, Charles played a key cross functional role which also drew upon his expertise in healthcare and training as a physician. Charles holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, an MD from New York University, and a BS from UC San Diego. He lives in Palo Alto, CA with his wife and 2 daughters.
Andrew is passionate about building technology to enhance our relationships with ourselves, each other and the world around us. He is an engineer, back pain sufferer and designer. At LUMO he leads the technology team and focuses on building a new ecosystem of smart devices & physical apps to solve problems for the human body – focusing first on his own experience with finding that improving posture helped mitigate his back pain tremendously. He has a BSE in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan and MS from Stanford University.
